As per Major League Soccer’s 2022 Match Delay, Postponement, Cancellation and Forfeiture Policy, the game at Bank of America Stadium will resume in the 16th minute – when it was originally suspended – with the same players on the field and substitutes bench. Should any of those players suffer injury or suspension, be transferred out of the club, or be unavailable for any other reason, they can only be replaced by a substitute, but the change will not account against the team’s allotted matchday substitutions.

The rescheduled date comes just four days ahead of Decision Day, the final date of the MLS regular season when teams will be battling for Playoff places.

Charlotte FC are currently 10th in the Eastern Conference with 26 points, while the Crew are four points ahead in sixth.
