‘Extra confidence’: Martin Odegaard says one Arsenal player is making everyone better

Arsenal attacking midfielder Martin Odegaard has praised his Gunners teammate Gabriel Jesus on Sky Sports.

The Norway international playmaker has said that Jesus has been brilliant for Arsenal since his move from defending Premier League champions Manchester City in the summer transfer window.

Odegaard has noted that the Brazil international striker is giving the rest of the Arsenal players more confidence and is making everyone at London Colney better.


The Arsenal creative player said about Jesus: “He has been brilliant since he came in, and he has given us so much.

“I think he also gives us that extra confidence and the wining feeling. He brought that from Manchester City. He has been brilliant.”

In our view, Gabriel Jesus has been superb for Arsenal since his move to the Emirates Stadium in the summer transfer window.

The Brazilian won Premier League titles with City and also competed in the UEFA Champions League with Pep Guardiola’s side.

Jesus has a winning mentality, and he has brought that to Arsenal.

The striker has hit the ground running at Arsenal and is showing why he is the number 9 that the Gunners needed to sign this summer.

Jesus has scored five goals and given three assists in eight Premier League appearances for Arsenal so far this season.

The 25-year-old has given one assist in 43 minutes in the UEFA Europa League for Mikel Arteta’s side so far this campaign.
