Arsenal were busy training at London Colney yesterday ahead of their Europa League game against PSV Eindhoven, and Gabriel Magalhaes was spotted screaming at summer signing Fabio Vieira.
The Gunners are on top of their Europa League group after winning each of their first three games so far this season. A win against PSV this evening will all but confirm their status as group winners, and both Vieira and Gabriel could start.
Gabriel Magalhaes screams at Fabio Vieira after what he did in Arsenal training yesterday
During Arsenal’s training session at London Colney yesterday, Vieira, Gabriel and Bukayo Saka were spotted jogging towards the rest of the group.
Vieira, who was behind everyone else, ran up and jokingly slapped Gabriel on his shoulder.
The Arsenal defender seemed visibly annoyed for a second and tried to catch the Portuguese midfielder, but he then took it as a joke and hilariously screamed at him.
Vieira appeared to point at something that happened before and the two players carried on, with Gabriel seemingly smiling at what his Portuguese-speaking teammate was saying to him.
Vieira has been a regular in Arsenal’s Europa League team so far this season.
The 22-year-old joined the Gunners from Porto for £34 million (Sky Sports) in the summer, and after initial struggles with injuries, he has been able to show his quality on the ball.
In Arsenal’s last home game in the Europa League against Bodo/Glimt, Vieira scored a goal and picked up a beautiful assist to help the Gunners secure a 3-0 victory.
He is expected to start again this evening, and if he has a good game, Arsenal should be able to pick up another win and secure qualification for the knockout stages.
