‘They are machines’: Gabriel Jesus says he’s so ‘lucky’ to play with two Arsenal players

Arsenal star Gabriel Jesus has branded his two young teammates Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka as ‘machines’.

The Gunners have mostly been fantastic this season. They are at the top of the Premier League table, and one of the biggest reasons why they’ve looked so good is their front three – Martinelli, Jesus and Saka.

Gabriel Jesus says Arsenal stars Gabriel Jesus and Bukayo Saka are ‘machines’

Jesus has been Arsenal’s main man this season. He has made the Gunners a very dangerous side, and his presence has lifted all the players around him – especially the youngsters.

Arteta’s first-choice front three are Martinelli, Jesus and Saka. They’ve all performed really well, and Jesus, like many Arsenal fans, has been really impressed by the two young wingers.

Speaking ahead of Arsenal’s Europa League game tomorrow, Jesus was asked about Saka and Martinelli. He admitted that the two possess so much energy that it’s sometimes hard for him to keep up with them.

He said, as per Football London: “They are machines.

“I joke with them because I think I have a lot of energy but when I train with them I realise I’m not close because they don’t stop.

“They’re still young so I’m lucky to play with them.”

Our View:

Saka and Martinelli have both been magnificent for Arsenal this season.

The two youngsters have been playing well beyond their years for a while now, but this season, they’ve both taken their game to a whole new level.

Jesus too deserves a lot of credit for the way he has linked up with Saka and Martinelli. The trio have formed a really dangerous partnership up top for Arsenal, and they will only get better in the coming weeks and months.

Arsenal take on PSV tomorrow and it will be interesting to see if Jesus, Saka and Martinelli will all start.
