USMNT goalkeeper Ethan Horvath joins Luton Town on loan

United States men’s national team goalkeeper Ethan Horvath is headed to Luton Town on loan.

Nottingham Forest agreed to send Horvath over to the Championship side for the 2022/23 campaign following confirmation of Dean Henderson’s loan move to the newly promoted team from Manchester United.

Horvath made 11 appearances for Nottingham Forest during the 2021/22 run, helping the side ascend to the Premier League.

“I was really impressed with him in terms of what he’s done,” Luton Town manager Nathan Jones said. “We were aware of him, then he went to Forest and he did well in the limited amount of time he had to play.”

The goalkeeper originally joined Nottingham Forest a year ago on a free transfer from Club Brugge, where he lifted three Belgian league titles.
