‘You are from another world’: Marquinhos seriously impressed by £52m forward Arsenal reportedly want to sign

Arsenal have been linked with a move to sign Brazilian wonderkid Endrick, and Gunners youngster Marquinhos appears to be a huge fan of the talented forward.

Endrick, still only 16, is viewed by many as the next big superstar to come out of Brazil. He’s making a fantastic name for himself and it’s only a matter of time before he’s snapped up by a top European club.

Marquinhos hails Arsenal target Endrick on Instagram

BBC Sport claim that Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City among many other clubs are interested in Endrick, while Brazilian journalist Jorge Nicola revealed on his YouTube channel that Spurs want to sign the talented teenager too.

However, even though he’s still only 16, he’ll cost a fortune. Fabrizio Romano recently revealed that the youngster has a £52 million release clause in his contract.

That is a lot of money for someone so young, but it’s clear that the talent is there, and it won’t surprise us at all if a club like Real Madrid decide to meet those demands to sign him at some point.

Endrick has a lot of fans in Brazil, but it looks like the big boys in the Premier League are watching him too. Tottenham’s Richarlison praised him recently, while Arsenal star Gabriel Jesus branded him as a ‘phenomenon’.

Gunners youngster Marquinhos appears to be a big fan too, and the winger hailed his compatriot on Instagram after he scored his first senior goal for Palmeiras earlier this week.

“You are from another world mlk, congratulations,” Marquinhos wrote on Instagram.

Endrick makes history

Endrick is still only a kid, but he has already entered his name into the history books of Palmeiras.

Earlier this week, Endrick was brought on at half-time against Athletico Paranaense. The youngster scored twice and helped his side pick up an impressive 3-1 victory.

By finding the net, Endrick became the youngest player in the history of Palmeiras to score a goal – 16 years, three months and four days. That is an extraordinary achievement, and it is no surprise at all that he’s a wanted man.

With so many clubs involved in the race, it is difficult to see how Arsenal could lure him away. Edu’s connections in Brazil could make a huge difference but it’s still very, very unlikely.
